Larry Dalzell, Ph.D., FAAA

Dr. Larry Dalzell joined The Hearing Center during 2005. Prior to joining The Hearing Center, Dr. Dalzell practiced Audiology at The University of Rochester Medical Center since 1978 where he served as Director of Audiology and Speech Pathology and as Professor of Otolaryngology.

Prior to his work in Rochester, Dr. Dalzell practiced Audiology at The University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, where he served as Instructor in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology and at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, where he served as Chief of Audiology and Speech Pathology and as the Hearing Conversation Officer for Fort Bliss, as a Captain in the Army Medical Service Corps. Dr. Dalzell has served as an adjunct faculty member at Vanderbilt University, Central Michigan University, State University of New York at Buffalo, and the University of Texas at El Paso, and as Audiology Consultant to Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Canandaigua, New York.

Dr. Dalzell earned a bachelor's degree with majors in Mathematics and Audiology from North Dakota State Univeristy, a master's degree in Audiology from Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. degree in Audiology from The University of Iowa.

He completed an audiology fellowship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. Dr. Dalzell is board certified by American Board of Audiology and by The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. He is a fellow of The American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Dalzell is licensed to practice Audiology in New York State.

Dr. Dalzell is serving The New York State Education Department as a member of the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Licensure Board where he chairs the Practice Issues Committee. He received The Distinguished Clinician Award for 2002 from The New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association. He has served numerous local, state, and national health agencies, academies, and associations, and has had editorial assignments for numerous audiology and medical journals.

He is a member of The American Academy of Audiology, The American Auditory Society, The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, The New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and The Genesee Valley Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Sheila Dalzell, Au.D., FAAA

Dr. Sheila Dalzell has practiced Audiology at The Hearing Center since 1979. Prior to her work in Rochester, Dr. Dalzell practiced Audiology at Otologic Medical Services in Iowa City, Iowa.

Dr. Dalzell earned a bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University, a master's degree from New Mexico State University, and a Doctor of Audiology degree from The University of Florida.

She completed an audiology fellowship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Dalzell is board certified in Audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and by The American Board of Audiology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Dalzell is licensed to practice Audiology in New York State and Iowa.

She has served on the Board of Directors of The American Academy of Audiology and of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation. Dr. Dalzell has served as associate editor for the American Journal of Audiology.

She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, The American Auditory Society, The Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology, and the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Elizabeth Orlando, Au.D., FAAA

Dr. Elizabeth (Beth) Orlando has practiced Audiology at The Hearing Center since 1989.

She earned a bachelor's degree from Ithaca College, a master's degree from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Doctor of Audiology degree from The University of Florida.

She completed an audiology fellowship at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario and practiced Audiology there prior to joining The Hearing Center.

Dr. Orlando is board certified in Audiology by The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and by The American Board of Audiology. She is licensed to practice Audiology in New York State and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Shannon Manzo, Au.D., FAAA

Dr. Shannon Manzo has practiced Audiology at The Hearing Center since 2001.

Dr. Manzo earned a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo, a master's degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo, and a Doctor of Audiology degree from The University of Florida.

Dr. Manzo completed an Audiology fellowship at The Hearing Center.

Dr. Manzo is board certified in Audiology by The American Board of Audiology and The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
